Development Prospect of BOPP Tape Industry
In the next decade, BOPP tape manufacturers must step up research and development of environmentally friendly adhesive tape and high value-added products, which is both the challenge and opportunity for the production enterprises, and whoever seizes the right moment will win.
To some extent, the production of tape depends on the supply of tape film. The price of BOPP film has risen in recent years as the price of oil has soared, and the supply of BOPP film has been scarce and even out of the market, which seriously hinders the production of adhesive tapes. Therefore, we consider that:
I. Establish a vertical supply chain of raw materials to ensure the supply of BOPP tape film
The upstream product of BOPP tape production is BOPP tape film, and the film used in the production of tape is mainly purchased from outsourcing, which causes the fluctuation of price, the increase of intermediate expenses and the high production cost, seriously restricting the development of adhesive tpe production. Therefore, in the future development, we should not only ensure the production of BOPP tape, but also remove some intermediate links and costs to effectively gurantee the continuous production of tape, reduce the production cost of tape, improve the market competitiveness of tape and increase the economic benefits of enterprises.
II. Market prospect of BOPP tape
Tape is widely used in the world. Although the total production of tape is expanding, its market potential is very large. It can be said that BOPP tape is basically used for products packed in cartons, office appliances for enterprises and public institutions, and family daily necessities. With passage of time, the sales market of BOPP tape is pregnant with huge business opportunities, which will be further highlighted.
